Hackney Central Regeneration

Being able to draw upon a full range of planning, development and investment expertise enables us to have a co-ordinated approach to the projects which we manage on behalf of individuals, companies, and in this case, a financial institution.

Identified within the Council’s UPD as a gateway site to Hackney town centre, we devised a 50,000sq.ft. scheme which combined hotel, retail and student accommodation uses. Our thorough pre-application discussions with all the relevant bodies, including Crossrail and  TFL,  planning permission was approved by the Council upon our first submission.

Having created and established the value, our next task was to crystallise this in a sale, which we carried out on the open market to ensure best price was achieved.

Having carried out a sale of the site with the benefit of planning consent to developer LPC Living, our role continued by securing pre-lets to tenants including Travelodge and TK Maxx on behalf of the developer, and remains on-going in the asset management of the scheme.
